The Giovanna Gown is a modest Italian gown from
the late 1400's. It features a rounded neckline and a bodice that ends at the natural waist. The straight
cut skirt can be either gathered or pleated at the waist. Sleeves can be sewn on or can be made
detachable. The gown generally closes down the back with either grommets & lacing or an invisible zipper. However, you
can choose to move closures to the front to mimic the historic styles seen below. This gown has very little boning
or bodice stiffening, so is great for those wanting to move about freely. A corset is optional with this gown.
It can be made of ornate fabrics and trims for a noble appearance or can be made of simpler fabrics for other classes.
Pricing starts at $225 and can go up depending on fabrics & embellishments chosen or design changes.
As with most of our garments, you can request changes in the design to suit your needs or vision of the outfit.
