Working Class Dress/Kirtle

Made of linens, wools, and coarser fabrics, this is a more modest gown for those of us who are not part of the nobility or gentry.  This dress has a moderately fitted bodice attached to a gathered "square-cut" skirt which is full enough to be worn over a hoop, if desired.  The skirting can be "closed" or can be split in the front to show an under gown or long chemise.  The lined bodice has boning to support the grommet closure (down the back). It should be worn over a corset or your choice of foundation. Optional, tie-on sleeves or shoulder wings can be added.

Pricing starts at $175 and can go up depending on fabrics & embellishments chosen or design changes.
As with most of our garments, you can request changes in the design to suit your needs or vision of the outfit.
